Fastest and cheapest bitcoin exchange via bank transfer
I don't care if I have to verify my identity and don't care if they offer other methods of deposit/transfer. I just want a site that offers bank account transfers to buy bitcoin that takes less than three days and is less than 1% fee. Does such a site exist? I don't want to do any type of person to person cash exchange. It must be a bank transfer. I used to have circle and blockchain. It took like 1 hour and fees were like less than 0.5%. I have since moved to coinbase and it takes like a week and charges 1.5% fee. I have done a quick google search to no avail. Yes, I'm a bit of a newb so please don't poke fun.
[uncensored-r/Bitcoin] We have just launched South Africa's cheapest bitcoin exchange - BitDirect.co.za

South Africa has notoriously had a dominant exchange which trades in the region of 6% - 22% above the international spot rate. This is due to South African foreign exchange controls. Previous SA exchanges have made these controls the issue of the customer, where we have opted to remove this pain-point on their behalf. We have felt that a Bitcoin Brokerage, similar to Coinbase, is a better model, where we use the customer's R1m (+- $80k) Single Annual Foreign Exchange Allowance to purchase bitcoin from international exchanges on their behalf. This results in prices being only slightly higher than international rates, regardless of market conditions. We currently offer only the purchase facility at this stage as it makes sense to just sell your BTC on another South African exchange at a higher rate. South Africa (arguably), has the highest propensity for Bitcoin globally per capita, we are consistently in the top 3 spaces for Bitcoin related searches on Google (check Google Trends). Our mission is to get bitcoin into as many South African people's hands as possible, at the lowest possible rates. So I signed up for coinbase back in 2018 because in my research I read that it had the cheapest exchange rate among cyrpto exchanges, or so I thought. About a week after I verified all of my information, and got all the way to the max account level of 3, they had increased my weekly card purchasing limit to $300.00 per week. I didn't mind this at all, even though I really only used at most $150.00 in a week's time. After about 3 months all of a sudden my purchasing limit was reduced to $50.00 per week. So I sent in a support ticket requesting a purchasing limit increase. Then when I tried to make a purchase for that amount they locked my account and wouldn't let me purchase anything. So I sent in another support ticket. After a couple weeks of waiting I called in to find the status of my tickets. The one I sent requesting the purchase limit increase, had been assigned to a representative who was reviewing it. But he said I should have already received a response by now so he sent a follow up requesting that the person assigned to it, to contact me and let me know what was going on. After another week my purchasing ability was restored. But my account was still at restricted to only $50.00 per week. So I bought $50.00 worth of bitcoin, this is when I found out that COINBASE is NOT an American company, they aren't even American based at all. In fact they operate out of The UK in London, or somewhere around that area, and every purchase I made with my card, also came with a foreign transaction fee. So not only were they charging me to buy the crypto, they also charged me a fee for not being in the UK. This effectively meant they were NOT THE CHEAPEST BITCOIN EXCHANGE, especially since they are CHARGING me TWICE for EVERY PURCHASE! So now several months have gone by. I still haven't gotten a response to my purchase limit increase request, in fact they lowered it even more from $50.00 per week to $12.00 per week for card purchases. This is the absolute last straw for me. Not only will they not raise my purchase limit back to what it was, or even up to $100.00 per week, they lowered it even more, and are charging me foreign transaction fees for every purchase that I make. Meanwhile the newer CASH APP, >https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.squareup.cash<, from the company that brought us the square card readers for our phones, has a $10,000.00 per week card purchase limit, unlimited sells, $10,000.00 per week deposit, $2,000.00 per day max withdrawal, not to exceed $5,000.00 per week, NO foreign transaction fees whatsoever because they are an American company, based out of San Francisco California. Plus they actually have decent customer service that do respond within 24-48 hours. This may be longer over the weekend I'm not sure, but at least they actually answer and provide help. So I've decided to say 🖕FUCK YOU COINBASE🖕! I'm done with you, cause your useless, shitty, and expensive, with hidden fees. I'll be sticking to Cash App from now on!
Wire transfer fees charged by the 10 largest U.S. banks
Well 3% is big enough to discourage someone like me, and anyway bitcoin was meant to be spent directly not to dump for fiat and then spend, at that point spend directly your fiat, that's why there is no app for that Its 3% to put funds onto the app.. then free to send within the app.. (far better than bitcoins 4-cents for at-least 10 minute wait) Which actually if you look at the price of the cheapest bitcoin exchange.. and then look at the cost people actually pay to fund a coin-base account and then play the spread to get bitcoin.. there is not much difference. Its kind of why bitcoin is not good for remittance because getting fiat into bitcoin is not free.. and the same goes for the other side.. even if they say there is no "fee" the bitcoin exchanges/local-bitcoin brokers adjust the spread by 1%-4%, so the cost is hidden, so 3% to fund a bitcoin app from fiat into bitcoin.... to then be able to pay anyone instantly(think bit-go's proposal) in bitcoin with a username (think coin-base internal payment or change-tip social donations) would make bitcoin have something on par with venmo. But i do agree pay-pals upfront in your face 3%.. or bitcoins 'hidden in the spread' cost of 1%-4% is still off-putting. One day i hope to see a bitcoin version of an app that functionally similar to venmo or other instant payment services (UK: Ping-it) where its not much, if anything to actually get bitcoins at the cheapest price of the competing exchanges and completely free to send instantly once you have bitcoin. Banks Domestic - Incoming Domestic - Outgoing Foreign - Incoming Foreign - Outgoing Bank of America $15 $25 $16 $45 Chase $15 $30 $15 $45 Wells Fargo $15 $30 $16 $40 Citibank $15 $35 $15 $45 U.S. Bank $20 $30 $25 $50 Capital One $15 $25 $15 $50 PNC Bank $15 $25 $15 $45 TD Bank $15 $25 $15 $40 BB&T $15 $25 $18 $65 SunTrust Bank $15 $25 $30 $50 AVERAGE $15.50 $27.50 $18.00 $47.50
So I was paying my brother back for some food with Cash App (its an app very similar to Venmo for those unfamiliar) and I noticed a Bitcoin tab. It took me an additional few verification steps before it would let me use Bitcoin features. Though prior to this I have to say I was minimally signed up for Cash App only having my debit card linked for purposes described above. So if you use Cash App on a regular basis already you may not require anything additional. That said I can report you can instantly purchase then withdraw Bitcoin on Cash App with your debit card (the only thing I have tried is my Wells Fargo debit card) with minimal fees. The minimum you can withdraw from Cash App is .001 BTC (~$7) and the fees seem to range from 4-18 CENTS. Trying 3 different variants to deposit onto Bovada I received: $9.92 from $10 $99.95 from $100 $499.93 from $500 This is going Cash App Blockchain Bovada Longest transfer total time was less than 2 minuets. Sorry if this has been posted here before but if it hasn't I figured I would share for anyone looking to not get burned fees over and over moving money in and out of poker rooms.

I would just like to know if someone can suggest a "cheap" way to exchange dash for for bitcoin, I have looked at the exchange service of exodus but I lose about 4 dollars on a 10 dollars exchange. Is it because of the insane BTC fees currently something I don't see. I would like to hold the Dash but it doesn't have the growth Bitcoin has. All input is appreciated

What's the cheapest fastest way to exchange my Bitcoin Gold for Bitcoin?
I have a Ledger and want to dump my Bitcoin Gold for Bitcoin? Does anyone recommend an exchange that supports BTG? What are the signup requirements for said exchange? Do I have to sign my life away like Coinbase/GDAX? I've already verified myself on several exchanges with uploading photo ID and such. I don't really feel like doing it again on an exchange where I'm just going to dump my one altcoin.

I already bought a hardware wallet so I don't need to keep the Bitcoins on the exchange. I'm looking forward to discussing Bitcoin with all of you in the future :)
